This piece was inspired by something pretty simple. I was walking my dog one day and came across a field full of sunflowers. It made me think about how easy it is to miss things like that now.
We spend so much time looking at screens, chasing things online, surrounded by technology and AI, that sometimes we forget to look at what’s right in front of us.
The robot represents that a person slowly becoming more machine than human. The sunflowers are a reminder of everything that’s still out there when we put the devices down and actually look around.
No matter how much technology changes the world, we need to remind ourselves that we’re still human.
